Sri Lanka Eco Tours conducts its briefing sessions to visiting guests at the Research and Training Institute of Sri Lanka Ecotourism Foundation (SLEF), picturesquely located by the Bolgoda Lake, the largest natural lake of Sri Lanka.
SLEF also offers nature friendly accommodation at its complex. Visitors who are interested in a learning experience could gain an in-depth knowledge on ecotourism/sustainable tourism at the Institute. At the SLEF office complex, Sri Lanka Eco Tours arranges Sri Lankan cookery lessons using traditional open fire and facilities available for fishing, angling, canoeing, bird watching and village walks etc.
